Mike Latini grew up in New York City and Boston, performing in rock bands and singer-songwriter venues throughout the northeast. HIs immediately accessible music, engaging personal style, and unique lyrical perspective enable him to ride the rails from the sublime to the ridiculous, and make all the stops in between. After years on the local streets and national roads he is well known for playing his music in clubs and on concert stages in the New York - New Jersey - New England area, including Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City’s Taj Mahal.
Mike has been a regular at the historic Towne Crier in Beacon, NY, where he has shared the stage with a variety of national acts.
Local Teenager Liam Cooley to Make Musical Debut alongside Mike Latini
New Milford High School Freshman, Liam Cooley, is set to make his musical debut thanks to the support of the local nonprofit, Smiles I Can't See, where he received his first guitar in March 2022. Liam's musical education is nothing short of extraordinary. He honed his skills at Bear Claw Music Academy and embraced his creative spirit at Buck Rock Performing Arts Camp. Most recently, he has been sponsored by Cindy Davis to further refine his technique with accomplished musician Nick Arne. Liam has been performing at Open Mic Nights at the JCC in Sherman and is so grateful to have found a space to develop, while learning from seasoned talent, and share the music he loves.
This emerging artist, defined by many as an 'old soul' draws inspiration from many singer-songwriters across generations. Liam's musical influences can be traced from the soulful tunes of the '60's to the poetic ballads of today, creating a distinctive blend that resonates with audiences of all ages. Liam looks forward to sharing the stage with the talented Mike Latini, an experienced musician with a deep connection to the local music scene. This performance will be a testament to the power of this community, and we encourage you to join us for an evening of musical magic!
